Welcome to “From Code to Cure: The Power of Computer-Aided Drug Design.”
Transformative learning experience that opens the door to one of the most cutting-edge fields in pharmaceutical science today…
In the world of drug discovery, the traditional trial-and-error approach is giving way to something smarter, faster, and more precise.
At the heart of this evolution lies Computer-Aided Drug Design — or CADD — where chemistry meets computation, and innovation begins with a keystroke.
This isn’t just another course — it’s your entry point into the future of pharmaceutical science, where Pharmaceutical chemistry, computational chemistry, and artificial intelligence come together to transform how we rationalize drug design.
in Module 1, you'll lay the bedrock of molecular modeling. And build a strong foundation in computational chemistry. You'll explore how quantum mechanics and classical models help us understand molecules at the atomic level. You'll also learn about calculation methods, force fields, energy minimization and so much more.
Module 2 introduces a paradigm shift: the integration of AI into drug discovery. We’ll unpack how chemical data is represented using different tools. Then, we dive into predictive modeling, and you’ll see how machine learning enhances both ligand- and structure-based drug design approaches.
Module 3, focuses on virtual screening of libraries. You’ll discover how to build, manage, and screen chemical libraries, and how to identify the most promising hits based on different criteria, you will get to know different open source for data and different screening tools.
Throughout the course, you’ll use professional tools like MOE and Gaussian and learn from leading experts in computational and pharmaceutical chemistry.
Whether you're a student, researcher, or professional — if you're ready to learn the craft of how to transform molecules to drug candidates, you’re in the right place.
Let’s begin your journey — from code... to cure.
